These apple roses are perfect for a romantic breakfast or as a dessert, accompanied by some vanilla ice cream. Beautiful and super easy to make!
INGREDIENTS for 6 roses
One puff pastry sheet
Cut the apple in thin slices and soak them in hot water until they become a bit soft and bendable.
Cut the puff pastry in 6 stripes. Put the sliced apple in the top half of each strip, add some brown sugar and fold the strip in half in order to seal the apples in.
Roll the strip and give it a rose shape. Sprinkle some sugar and cinnamon on top.
Place the roses in a muffin tin. Cook them in a pre-heated oven at 180 C* for 40 minutes. Allow the roses to rest, take them out and serve.
You can also add on top of them some fruit jam.
