“Flower Power” Pizza

Today Cristina surprises us with a special pizza that looks like a flowery meadow. 

INGREDIENTS for the dough

400 ml warm water
20 gr fresh yeast
500 gr flour
50 gr extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon salt

INGREDIENTS for the decoration

1 Red pepper 
1 yellow pepper
1 carrot 
1 red carrot 
5 red cherry tomatoes 
5 yellow cherry tomatoes
1 red onion
2/3 red radish 
Chives for the flower stem
Oregano

METHOD

For the pizza dough, mix in a bowl the water, the extra virgin olive oil and the fresh yeast. Add the flour and the salt. Cover with a film and let it rise for 3 hours.

Oil the bottom of a backing tray and spread the dough. The dough is highly hydrated, so it will be sticky. A tip is to oil your hands very well with abundant extra virgin olive oil when you do it. 

Now is the fun part! Cut your vegetables and arrange them on the pizza dough like flowers. Sprinkle with olive oil, salt and oregano. 

Bake at 200 degrees for about 20 min.
