Today Cristina shares with us one of her recipes, perfect for your next lunch: fried chicken strips with red peppers.
– 3 red peppers (or any other color you like)
-1 clove of garlic
– 400 gr chicken breast
– 2 spoons of milk
– 1 egg
– Vegetable oil
– Extra virgin olive oil
– Salt and pepper
Wash the red peppers and cut them in small stripes. In a pan add extra virgin olive oil and a clove of garlic, then add the red peppers, season with salt and cook them for the first 10 minutes at high temperature and then for 10 more minutes at lower heat.
In the meantime cut the chicken breast in small strips. In a bowl, mix 1 egg with 2 spoons of milk, salt and pepper. In a separate bowl, add the breadcrumbs. Dip the chicken in the egg wash, then in the breadcrumbs. Fry them in a pan with vegetables oil.
Serve the peppers together with the chicken fried strips and…. buon appetito 😋
