Good morning with this stunning Spring Italian Cake! Once you learn how to prepare a sponge cake and custard, you will be able to bake wonderful Italian cakes, perfect for every occasion. You need just some practice and creativity!

INGREDIENTS syrup
100 ml of water
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 orange (only the juice)
1 tablespoons of #limoncello
INGREDIENTS decoration
500 ml of whipping cream
Food coloring (I used pink and green)
METHOD
Start breaking the eggs and divide the white from the yolks. Beat the eggs white until firm, then in a separate bowl put together the yolks and the sugar. Mix them with an electric mixer for 5 min, then incorporate the eggs white, always mixing with a spatula from the bottom. Add the flour a bit at the time and then the baking powder. Bake for about 40 min at 180 degrees.
Mix the eggs first with the sugar than with the flour. Add the milk a little at the time. Put the pot on the stove and continuously stir with a whisk until reach a dense consistency.
Mix all the ingredients and let them boil for a couple of minutes.
